This is not a scene that happened only once.

This is the daily reality of children in Gaza.

Every day, children wake up not knowing whether they will find enough clean water to drink.

Every day, they stand under the scorching sun beside empty containers.

Every day, they wait anxiously for a water truck that may never reach their camp.

And every day, some children become so desperate from thirst that they drink directly from the tap—before their families’ containers can even be filled.

This is what childhood looks like in Gaza today.

Children are not asking for toys, sweets, or new clothes.

They are desperately searching for water.

Painful appeals and cries for help reach us daily from displacement camps where families have no reliable access to safe drinking water.

Mothers plead for water for their children, while thousands of thirsty families wait without knowing whether another truck will arrive.

Children walk long distances carrying containers that are heavier than their exhausted bodies.

The sun burns their faces.

Their small hands struggle beneath the weight.

Yet they keep walking because returning without water means their families may remain thirsty.

💔 No child should have to search for water every day.

💔 No mother should watch her children suffer from thirst while having nothing safe to give them.

💔 No family should live in constant fear that tomorrow’s water truck may never arrive.

In Gaza, clean water is no longer guaranteed.

Every full container allows a child to drink.

Every water truck protects hundreds of displaced families from thirst.

But one delivery is not enough.

These children need water today, tomorrow, and every day—and we cannot continue reaching them without your support.
