A propósito de los hechos en la zona minera de Guayana

El pasado 3 de enero inició una nueva etapa en nuestra larga marcha hacia la Libertad de Venezuela, gracias a la acción decisiva del Presidente Trump y su administración.

Desde entonces, hemos sido testigos de hitos que durante años parecieron inalcanzables: la salida de Maduro para rendir cuentas ante la justicia y el progresivo desmantelamiento de las alianzas y estructuras con Rusia, Irán, China, Cuba y otros factores que contribuyeron al saqueo y la destrucción de nuestra nación.

Al mismo tiempo, el país avanza en la recuperación de las libertades ciudadanas fundamentales. Presos políticos —tanto civiles como militares— han sido excarcelados; el espacio cívico se amplía progresivamente y los venezolanos pueden expresarse con mayor libertad. Los medios de comunicación, la sociedad civil y la ciudadanía comienzan a recuperar los espacios que nos fueron arrebatados durante años.

En los últimos días, hemos visto el inicio del desmantelamiento de grupos armados, organizaciones criminales y mafias que operaron con absoluta impunidad, controlando y destruyendo vastas áreas de nuestro territorio y extendiendo sus tentáculos más allá de nuestras fronteras, incluyendo al Tren de Aragua. El daño humano, social, ecológico y económico que estos grupos criminales —que nacieron al amparo del chavismo y actúan en complicidad con la tiranía— le han causado a Venezuela es inconmensurable.

Como siempre les he asegurado: la verdad prevalecerá, la justicia se impondrá y la historia juzgará.

Todos estos logros eran impensables hace seis meses y, por ello, reconocemos y agradecemos al Presidente Trump y a su administración.

Sabemos que aún queda mucho por recorrer en este largo camino a la Libertad de Venezuela. Cada venezolano tiene un rol irremplazable en este proceso: organizarse en sus comunidades, defender la verdad, denunciar la presencia de estructuras criminales y sostener activamente las instituciones que poco a poco recuperamos.

Venezuela nos necesita a TODOS activos y comprometidos con este proceso.
