as a kid, we looked at a blank page and saw it as empty, and our hands were simply eager to fill it. but as we get older, we hesitate as if we’re afraid to ruin it. it’s so insane how fear destroys the very intuition of passion. (just a silly thought🥲)

my old agent gutted my book to fit his vision, mistreated me, and refused to give me a retainer for two years so i took my book back, self published it, and it was such a success that my dream publisher picked it up in a three book deal and i found a fantastic agent heuh heuh
