@TeamCMidO I think all student midwives would be grateful if you could advocate for our equality in being recognised and paid for our contribution whilst we continue to advocate for the women we care for. #recognisestudentmidwives
Today’s announcement by @nmcnews is nothing short of disappointing and embarrassing when it comes to student midwives. We are just as valuable and our contribution deserves equal recognition #recognisestudentmidwives
@NHS_HealthEdEng @nmcnews@MRadford_HEECN@NavinaEvans This announcement just highlights massive inequalities in nursing and midwifery students. There is no mention of 3rd yr student midwives pay? And a lack of options for the 2nd year students who have already had their 1st yr impacted during the first wave. Very disappointing
@nmcnews Why are 3rd year student midwives being discriminated against? Does our contribution not count as much as nurses? We are ALL at risk and yet our contribution isn’t as valued despite being utilised to help staffing level. Very disappointed in the inequality for all students.
@AndyBurnhamGM can you help address student nurses and midwives deserving to be paid for their contribution to the work force agin now were in national lockdown? #treatstudentsfairly
@BorisJohnson do you intent on paying student nurses and midwives who are stepping up and being part of the work force again since things haven’t got any better since you stopped payments?
@btsportfootball@btsport any chance you’ve got an option to turn the commentators off? Sick of their inane commentary and my dad shouting at the TV. Thanks
@intuTrafford I’m sorry but it’s far too busy today for anyone to social distance. There isn’t enough security inside either for what you’ve said to happen. I understand new guidelines were unexpected but it didn’t feel safe there today
