Important article by @sarngarava and @anujg on the importance of manufacturing even the smaller input goods in India and not just focusing on the larger more flashy manufactured goods: https://t.co/pW1Y9QT8eT
Was a pleasure to participate in this roundtable discussion on Right to Education. Reforms in the education sector will be crucial in the path to Viksit Bharat@2047.

On 30 June 2026, NFPRC Foundation successfully convened a closed-door roundtable on "Right to Education Reforms: From Policy to Practice," with the Centre for Civil Society (@ccsindia) serving as the Knowledge Partner.
The roundtable brought together educators, school principals, school management representatives, and representatives of school associations for an in-depth discussion on strengthening India's school education ecosystem, with participation from delegates representing both private and government schools.
Deliberations highlighted opportunities to streamline the regulatory architecture and enhance efficiency in compliance, rationalise infrastructure norms, encourage collaboration among neighbouring schools to optimise resources, improve the timeliness and effectiveness of reimbursement for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) students, and advance reforms in teacher qualification, recruitment, and deployment.
NFPRC Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to all participants, speakers, and partners for their valuable insights and contributions towards advancing meaningful reforms in India's school education ecosystem.

It was an honour to host Hon’ble Minister @mansukhmandviya Ji at the NFPRC workshop today. Your insights on strengthening India’s labour ecosystem, expanding social security, and creating a future-ready workforce greatly enriched the discussions.
Thank you for your guidance.
Addressed the Honorable MPs and MLAs on the topic 'Strengthening Labour and Skills Ecosystem' at the NFPRC Foundation workshop in New Delhi today.
Under PM Shri @narendramodi ji's leadership, the historic labor reforms perfectly balance 'Ease of Living' for workers and 'Ease of Doing Business' for employers.
#Opinion | Good intentions gave rise to #minimumwage laws, but for vulnerable workers, they also paved the proverbial “road to hell”. We can still choose a different road.

"The ban on Telegram satisfies the various legal tests laid down by the courts."
In Business Standard (@bsindia), Monalisa Nanda (@VasundhraAravit) , Team Manager at NFPRC Foundation, examines the legal and governance rationale behind the temporary restrictions and highlights the structural limitations of existing enforcement tools against organised examination fraud.

What changed?
The Ordinance exempts Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) and the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) from taxes on:
• Interest income from Government Securities
• Capital gains arising from Government Securities
Effective from 1 April 2026.
India’s defence-industrial autonomy cannot be achieved by merely buying from Indian firms.
It requires an acquisition architecture that builds Indian technological ownership, manufacturing depth, and long-term sovereign control over critical defence systems.

1/ Kerala’s Fiscal Resilience Index has fallen from 37.01 in 2016–17 to 21.41 in 2024–25.
Over the same period, Odisha rose to 73.13.
A widening divergence that raises deeper questions about Kerala’s fiscal model and long-term sustainability.

Was quoted by Aastha from @TOIIndiaNews on the impact of the Hormuz crisis on India. I argued that the GoI’s calibrated approach, combining restraint with clear calls to action and targeted policy interventions, is the right way to navigate the situation.
