На долю легендарного бойового генерала Дмитра Марченка випало чимало випробувань. Починаючи від Криму, де він брав участь у розвідувальній операції, про яку мало хто знає, але дізнається обов’язково після повернення нашого Криму додому. І закінчуючи боями за Донецький аеропорт та Ізварине у 2014 році та обороною Миколаєва зараз. 

Сьогодні вже ніхто не запитає: а хто такий «Марчелло»? Про нього знає кожен українець. Завдяки успішній обороні Миколаєва, якою керував Марченко, російський десант не зміг висадитися в Одесі.

Ви скажете, що це диво. А я скажу, що це вміння справжнього бойового генерала. Не того, який ховається у кабінетах, а того, хто завжди зі своїми — у полях. Таким є «Марчелло» і таким був завжди.
