Day 3 marked the end of three days of learning, reflection, and meaningful conversations. It was a great experience, and I'm grateful for the knowledge, connections, and lessons gained throughout the programme.

Day 2 was another good day of learning, practical sessions, honest conversations, and sharing experiences. I really enjoyed how the discussions went beyond theory and connected to the realities young people face every day.

Day 1 | Capacity Building on the Adolescent Leadership & Health Guide

This journey started back in February 2026, when two of us from Katsina State and three Young Peer Educators from Kano State were trained on the Adolescent Leadership & Health Guide.

On 20th June, I participating in the Northwest Youth Development Summit held at the Yar'Adua Centre, Kaduna, under the theme "From State Action to Regional Impact."

The conversations continue. And so does the journey of building the future we want to see.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of joining my fellow YLCP fellows from across the 7
Northwest States of Nigeria for a leadership seminar.

The Earth is slowly paying the price for our actions, and the little choices we make today will decide the future we leave behind for the next generation.

THE UNITED NATIONS HOUSE ABUJA

I had the honour of participating in a youth-focused capacity building training hosted at the United Nations House, where young peer educators gathered to strengthen their leadership, facilitation, and adolescent engagement skills.

Training (Phase I)

Today marked the final day of our training with 50 adolescent girls from 10 frontline LGAs, where hope, courage, and leadership came alive in the voices of these young girls.
