@rafiziramli Lets look at my view on this.
1. We say umno and their leaders are bad.
2. Lets hope for AI to be the man.
3. He got his wishes and then we are saying he is not the best.
4. So who is the best?
Perhaps we need young blood who is visionary, beriman and also grounded. Who then?
@bckupacc99 I used to be bitter about scholrship is not meant for the rich. However, i perasan anak orang kaya memang layak jugak dapat sxholarship sebab memang diaorng ada unfair advantage. Normally, anak org kaya will be those yang akan lead the country as well.
@hizwani I was about to say- maybe i am genius for knowing another genius too…may Allah bless us and protect us from jealousy and envious. Love u so much from another muslim brother!
@hizwani Its never straightforward because the lack of attention given to the wife all the time. I have not watched football with friends for such a long time because i dont enjoy the time wasting like how i used to when i was young. Still watch man u but on the phone or home. No gaduh2.
@hizwani From my experience, being triggered is the key to innerself understanding to those who reflect.
If i can advise the younger me, i would say, learn to understand yourself by knowing what triggers u so that u will be calm and consider those triggers as noises in life.
@hizwani I used to think- why people need to be hypocrites .
Why only ramadhan?
Then, i realised- that ramadhan is actually a gift of Allah.
We must enjoy that month and use it and immerse ourselves for goodness.
If we fail the other 11 months, this one month is the gift.
Just enjoy!
Disappear this Ramadan and set yourself 12 months ahead with these habits:
1. Wake up for Tahajjud (last third of the night)
The world is asleep.
Shaytan is chained.
Your nafs is quiet.
Win the night, win Ramadan.
Win Ramadan, win the year.
2. Fast from your phone after Isha until Fajr
Not just food and water.
Fast from the thing that's actually destroying you.
Your screen.
No scrolling before bed
No "quick checks" at 2am
No dopamine hits when you're weak
3. Recite the Quran with intention (not just speed)
Everyone's racing to finish 30 juz.
Almost no one is letting it change them.
• Pick ONE surah.
• Read the tafsir. (tafsir ibn kathir or tafsir as-sa'di)
• Try to understand what Allah is actually saying to YOU.
Transformation doesn't come from speed reading.
It comes from letting the words rewire your heart.
2 pages with reflection > 2 juz without it.
4. Build ONE Islamic habit that outlasts Ramadan
Most people go hard for 30 days.
Then collapse on Eid +1.
Don't be like that.
Choose ONE practice you'll carry forever:
• Fajr in the masjid
• Daily Quran after Fajr
• Consistent night prayer
• Guarding your gaze like your life depends on it
Ramadan isn't a sprint.
It's the foundation for the next 11 months.
5. Invest in your Akhirah while everyone's distracted
While others are:
• Binging after taraweeh
• Staying up until suhoor doing nothing
• Wasting Laylatul Qadr on their phones
You're:
• Learning your deen properly
• Breaking the addiction cycles
• Building the discipline that lasts for years to come
This Ramadan disappears from the noise.
Reappear as someone unrecognizable.
