A large number of people in Budhal Constituency, most of them belonging to the tribal and forest-dwelling communities, have received eviction notices from the forest land on which they have been residing and sustaining their livelihoods for several decades.
Any coercive action to evict these families at this stage will have serious humanitarian and law-and-order consequences. The authorities must act with sensitivity and restraint.
It is important to note that many of these claims are still pending consideration under the Forest Rights Act (FRA). Until all claims are decided in accordance with the law, no eviction or coercive action should be initiated.
I urge the concerned authorities to immediately suspend the eviction process and ensure that the legitimate rights of genuine forest dwellers and tribal communities are fully protected.@diprjk @dmjammuofficial @RAJOURIPOLICE @JKForestMin @jkforestdeptt @BJP4India #javidahmedRana

The Government of India has sanctioned a substantial amount under the Jal Jeevan Mission for the Koteranka Water Supply Scheme. Unfortunately, despite the availability of funds, the scheme has not yet been completed and commissioned.
As a result, the people of Koteranka and the adjoining areas are facing an acute shortage of drinking water, causing immense hardship, particularly during the ongoing summer season.
I urge the concerned authorities to treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and take immediate steps to complete and commission the Koteranka Water Supply Scheme at the earliest so that the people receive the safe and reliable drinking water they have long been waiting for. @dmrajouri

The Bindi–Jamola Kha and Koteranka roads are in a highly dilapidated condition, with large potholes, damaged bitumen, and severely worn-out stretches, making them unsafe and unfit for traffic. Commuters, students, patients, and the general public are facing immense hardship due to the poor condition of these roads.
I urge the Jammu & Kashmir Government to take immediate steps for the repair and restoration of these roads and ensure their blacktopping at the earliest. Providing safe and motorable roads is a basic necessity, and the people of the area deserve prompt attention
بندی، جمولا کھا اور کوٹرنکہ کی سڑکیں انتہائی خستہ حالی کا شکار ہیں۔ جگہ جگہ بڑے بڑے گڑھے، اکھڑی ہوئی بٹومین (تارکول) اور ٹوٹی پھوٹی سڑکیں عوام کے لیے شدید مشکلات کا باعث بنی ہوئی ہیں۔ ان سڑکوں پر سفر کرنا نہ صرف دشوار بلکہ خطرناک بھی ہو چکا ہے، جس سے روزانہ آنے جانے والے مسافر، طلبہ، مریض اور مقامی لوگ شدید پریشانی کا سامنا کر رہے ہیں۔
میں جموں و کشمیر حکومت سے پُرزور مطالبہ کرتا ہوں کہ ان سڑکوں کی فوری مرمت اور بلیک ٹاپنگ کے لیے ہنگامی بنیادوں پر اقدامات کیے جائیں تاکہ عوام کو محفوظ اور بہتر سفری سہولیات فراہم کی جا سکیں۔

Met with the family of the late Mohd. Yaqoob of Gundi Badhal, who tragically lost his life under mysterious circumstances in Darhal, Rajouri, recently.

I urged @jkpoliceRajouri to conduct a thorough, fair, and impartial investigation into the incident and to ensure that those responsible are identified and brought to justice at the earliest. The bereaved family deserves truth, justice, and accountability.

Deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, former Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, former MLA, and a veteran leader of the National Conference.
Dr. Mustafa Kamal Sahib was an experienced parliamentarian and a respected public figure who served the people with commitment and dedication. I had the privilege of serving alongside him in the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly from 2008 to 2014, during which I came to know him as a courteous colleague with deep political experience and unwavering commitment to public service.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to Dr. Farooq Abdullah Sahib, Hon'ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, the entire bereaved family, colleagues, and well-wishers. May the Almighty grant eternal peace to the departed soul, bestow strength and patience upon the family to bear this irreparable loss, and bless them with courage during this difficult time.
