The SomMarine boat building company was inaugurated in Kismayo in July 2024. A year later, SomMarine has built more than ten modern fishing and tourist boats.

Three large cargo boats are nearing completion.
This much work was completed in one year and in Kismayo, #Somalia.

This baobab tree is long-lived, with over 1,500-year-old baobab trees documented worldwide.

Somalia and Africa in general have only one type of baobab tree.

Today, I attended the culture and community integration celebration held in Garissa Town.

The various ethnic groups living in Kenya performed traditional dances that reflected their heritage and cultures.

Somalis performed traditional dances such as Diisowga, Saarka & Dhantada

The most dangerous day for me while filming was when I visited the Ras Aseyr Tower on Africa's northeastern tip.

During a flood and risk management workshop with @FAOSomalia , I shared photographs of individuals stranded in the Jubba River during the El Niño flood in November 2023. The photographs I shot reached Jubaland State and helped to evacuate around 200 individuals.
