4) In an age of flashy materialism, David Hockney created images of life so quiet, kind, and beautiful in their simplicity that you can’t take your eyes off them.
He passed away at the age of 88. I thank him for giving me a better way to look at the world.
1) When I was 16 or 17, for some reason I decided I needed a contemporary artist to be a fan of.
For another strange reason, it also had to be a pop artist. But it couldn’t be too obvious, so I ruled out Andy Warhol right away.
Shortly after, of course, I discovered David Hockney. He was mainstream too, obviously, but not as ubiquitous as Warhol, which suited my requirements quite nicely.
3) Hockney kept creating until the end. And he was that rare kind of artist who could employ tech.
In 2023, his Bigger Christmas Trees, drawn on an iPad, were projected onto the chimneys of Battersea Power Station in London, literally bringing his dreamy, colorful world to life.

People aren’t just complaining about Google's AI search overhaul, they’re leaving.
Yesterday alone, our week over week installs surged 30% in the U.S. 🚀
Momentum is growing. It’s time to Fire Google.
If you read between the lines - Google is getting more critical of our content and what we publish.
Google can quickly identify commodity content. AI can generate this content easily. Google doesn’t need your website to create/scale this content.

9) Good luck to investors buying rockets, satellite wifi, AI and Mars colonization, with Musk’s ego on top
I mean, if that gets us to other planets, then give the man his trillions and whatever else he needs
I just wish our reality looked a little more like For all mankind.

1) 🚀IPO of SpaceX made me think: will this overhyped company finally make us settle the space, “For all mankind” style? Its financial prospect is certainly a match. More details below
But first, a personal flashback. In 2019, I started working at a company that operated an investment platform, and its main products at the time was exposure into SpaceX shares — there was already a secondary OTC market for them.
We marketed it as a “pre-IPO.” Many believed SpaceX would go public within the next 1-2 years. Because why not? Demand for the IPO would be massive, and that was the main ingredient of a successful listing back then.
8) The risk section is also cosmic: solar and cosmic radiation, micrometeoroids, orbital debris, human injury or death

1) While everyone is obsessed with RAG and complex AI optimization, don’t underestimate the basics.
One low-effort ‘trick’ easily boosts both AI visibility AND brings more relevant, motivated visitors to your website: your page’s <title> and <meta name="description" content="...">
Before you call it outdated, look at this reddit post I encountered just a few days ago👇
8) Can you automate this? Yup. But do it smart. For example, feed this framework to an LLM to build custom instructions😏
Imo, AI-generated custom metadata also matches greatly with programmatic methods used by e-com or publishers.
Just human-check the outputs!
Overall: Leverage Modifier Layering to get visible to LLM crawlers, reduce noise, and drive high-intent clicks. 🚀
