At this point, if a shadowy figure arrived at my doorstep tonight and offered me a publishing deal in exchange for my soul, I wouldn't even think twice. And yes, I've been querying for a while now and I'm quite tired. #WritingCommmunity

It's not a story I live with every day. I know it sounds harsh and terrible, but this is a warning to all the fellow authors out there: this can happen and it most likely will, the more months you spend in the trenches.

@mariafloreto yes! like, I get it, no one is stopping anyone from reading and reviewing stuff, but I really feel like sometimes no review is a better way to go than hyper-criticizing someone's work. it fine that you didn't like it. other people still enjoyed it.

Okay, another shoutout to all of my fellow authors: places like goodreads, or, overall, review spaces are not for you, whether the feedback is good or bad. The sooner you learn it, the better your mental health is gonna be. #WritingCommunity

I'm this weird type of writer that never sticks to the outline and writes only to discover where the story goes (almost) on its own. Sometimes I'm as surprised as my readers. My question is: are there others like me? How do you manage this chaos? #WritingCommunity
