"All major automakers will have to build their own #batteries as it's the key component of #EVs. The competition to buy in stakes of #lithium resource companies will be the major war soon"
Tesla is making its own battery cells
Now VW thinks the same

LTR & LGES Stratejik Partnership is on the way. LGES needs a lot of lithium. LGES battery production capacity: 550 GWh in 2026 for 12 factories. Lithium demand of LGES is 450ktpa LCE. That is equal to the lithium production of all Australian mines. $LTR

@usuallyYJLee @groen_rogier Hi guys. I'm not very active here. I've posted detailed info about Weilasituo project @Inner Mongolia on Hotcopper. No LCT pegmatite (not even lepidolite) but a polymetallic Li-Rb veins (1-4mt thick), have to be mined separately than tin containing veins. https://t.co/XFdRVhMPrB
@timgoyder@LG_ensol@LiontownRes Congratulations Tim. This is a great move by you and yr team. 👏👏👏👏
We, the retail holders are all behind you because you're the man to follow.👍💯
@sparkes_dwayne There is no limit for BSing for GS.
Don't drink coffee while reading this😄
Exhibit 9 graph of GS report. No numbers given on table (1st graph). I've found out (2nd graph)
While Aust LCE increase ~200kt
Zimbabwe 150kt
Chinese lepidolite180kt
Australia falls behind after 2024
@sparkes_dwayne GS's forecasts are complete BS I will post it on Hotcopper soon, but posting here now. Here is a breakdown of GS's table by me. GS says China is being the largest miner of lithium in the world after 2024 and between 2025-2030. Bigger than Australia..! 🥳

Tesla has brought back the Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel-Drive after the vehicle was taken off the company's website last year because it was way too popular.

@PHmetals Li is not an immature, thin-liquidity market anymore, it might be immature opinion of Fastmarkets
Australia’s Dept. of Ind. Science & Resources said; "Australia forecasts lithium export earnings of $16B in 2022-23, up from $5B in 2021-22"
I think it will be over $40b in 2029
@PHmetals Manipulation is being done by many parties (not saying particularly you); Chinese buyers, G.Sachs, C.Suisse (gone!), etc. You guys wrote this article on Feb.23.

Totally false information.
Chinese subsidies & Ev demand is back on with more than 35% YoY.

@elonmusk@stats_feed I knew you would have to buy lithium mines and be a miner @elonmusk. You gave the signals long time ago in yr speach below. Don't be late

Here is a breakdown of @elonmusk speech about getting into mining business
He didn't want to mention about that but he couldn't stop himself
Then said "getting into mining business ... a little bit at least"
This guy is a disruptor
He has no "a little bit"
@stats_feed Price of lithium has gone to insane levels! Tesla might actually have to get into the mining & refining directly at scale, unless costs improve.
There is no shortage of the element itself, as lithium is almost everywhere on Earth, but pace of extraction/refinement is slow.

EVs share will be 60% in VW production in Europe by 2030
This will create a demand of 240GWh for VW in Europe
VW's existing battery agreement and capacity will be increased to 80GWh soon (2x40GWh)
VW will need 6 x 40GWh battery factories across Europe by 2030
