Liberty Update.
Many of you will remember Liberty's story, she had lifesaving surgery for a liver shunt which, if left would have most likely been fatal before her 1st birthday. Several weeks ago the surgery was miraculous and she has just about recovered from it.

@gray_siblings I am sorry you are hurting, I wish we could do something to help. What would make you feel better? And you are not all alone, you have a lot of people here who care about you. Animal rescue is very hard and you are doing an amazing work. Is there a professional you could talk to?

Bad news follows bad news - we are sad to find that our xray machine has stopped working – possibly because of the earthquake tremors – whatever has happened, repair is not looking possible and so we are opening a fundraiser to try and replace it. The one we have was second hand when we got it, and it is big and old and it takes up a lot of room and the xrays aren’t always as clear as we would like – so we are going to try and raise €16000 euros to replace it

Thank you for being with us and thank you for all the messages of concern and support we have been receiving since the earthquake. There is still so much to do in the coming days and your love, your donations, your prayers and good wishes are all necessary for us.

There are days when your heart doesn't just break in two but in a million pieces. Mia deserved more than this from life but she was born on the cruel streets of Pakistan that showed her no love or mercy. Im so sorry Mia i could not give you the life that you deserved 💔💔

🦮 This is Ukrainian military dog Vasya. He returned to the trenches with the Ukrainian military on three legs. He was immediately sent for treatment in Poland.

We thank the dog handlers for taking care of our small heroes! ❤️🩹

In August of 2021, most security companies abandoned their dogs in Afghanistan. KSAR has worked hard to recover many of them, but we will get no assistance from those companies to transport them to retirement. We need your help. #workingdogs deserve more.

Instead of New Year's fireworks. russia launched 45 Iranian-made kamikaze drones at Ukraine throughout New Year's Eve.
All 45 of them were shot down.
The kremlin terrorist cannot waver the determination of Ukrainians.
2023 is the year of new victories.

On this last day of 2022, I'm reposting one of the first images I shared. Frightened Ukrainian children escaping the country with their cat at the start of the war. My wish for 2023 is peace in Ukraine. Happy New Year, my friends. Let's be kind to each other.💛💙

Understand the motivation behind the abuse; power and control, speciesism, peer pressure. Then deploy an effective response strategy based on education and enforcement. A ‘PREVENT’ plan for animals.
