In July, as a parting gift, Shavena facilitated our annual Away Day for our ANBU UK core team as an opportunity to discuss our vision and reflect on our progress!
The purpose of the event was to celebrate Tamil culture and honour our pengal (women). It was lovely meeting those who attended &spread awareness about our charity and its purpose.
We hope to continue to attend future festivals and celebrate together!
On Sunday 2nd June, ANBU UK attended the Penmai Fest, hosted by Karapincha and Panash.
