As a Minister I was responsible for both the Online Safety Bill & Revenge Porn Helpline. So it was a privilege to meet campaigner @georgiaharisonx in @UKParliament.
Georgia has played a vital role in the fightback against nonconsensual image-sharing.

I was pleased to support this important campaign #NotYoursToView to stop the use of so-called revenge porn, a vile practice whereby intimate photos and videos are shared without the consent of the person in them. Women are commonly the victims.
The wonderful @georgiaharisonx from @loveisland has done sterling work on this as she was forced to take her ex-partner to court over revenge porn. Georgia also spoke recently to the Women and Equalities Committee about making changes to the existing law.
I met representatives from @StopNCIIorg which is a free tool which supports victims of non-consensual intimate image abuse. It works to find where the images have been shared and to work with relevant companies to remove that image with a 90% removal rate.
I also chatted with @SWGfL_Official a charity for empowering sage and secure tech use

This week has been a significant one for the Revenge Porn Helpline, who work tirelessly to protect adults across the UK who have been impacted by intimate image abuse.
