@integritycdn if i'm not busy i try to see how long i can keep them on the phone. don't get as many calls any more just as i was starting to have fun. listened to telemarketers once talking how pissed they were when someone wasted their time. that's when the light bulb went on.
@acoyne This is what what PM Carney has to deal with. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. I am heartened by the support and understanding that many Canadians 🇨🇦 are showing towards our government as they attempt to deal with the madness..
@mikethenavyguy so suggesting that whatever level of government makes a deal it has to be passed with an election. might not be a bad way to stop some governments making deals the citizens don't like. i'm sure many in Alberta and Ontario might like to have that kind of over sight.
what i value is having the levels of government doing their job and not let it get to that point. after all that is part of the reason why we are paying them with our taxpayer dollars.
As @JoshDehaas of the @CDNConstFound wrote:
“If you value your constitutional rights to protest the government and to not have your bank accounts frozen without police showing a very good reason first, you owe Jason Kenney a beer.
One so far overlooked aspect of the Federal Court of Canada’s explosive declaration earlier this week that Justin Trudeau’s invocation of the Emergencies Act was illegal is just how crucial Kenney’s decision to stand up for provincial jurisdiction proved to be.”

@MayBFoggy Picture a pool full of 100 people drowning in various stages in the ocean
Triage doc will be like adding a spotter sitting up in a lifeguard tower
They will be able to say go pull THAT person out first cuz they’re gonna drown next
But if there are no lifeguards to pull ‘em out…
@FionaMattatall voting for the ucp doesn't help. look at rural hospitals and look at how they let O&G not pay taxes and we are left to cover the cost. it's not the citizens of the province they cater to.
Sure we did.
The repudiation of Pierre Poilievre by Canadian voters was a direct consequence of Donald Trump's assault on the Canadian economy and our sovereignty.
We voted for Carney to navigate the new world order Trump is creating.
Not Carney. Trump.
Is fierce free enterpriser @IngrahamAngle really arguing that GM, Ford et al need 100% tariffs to survive?
Also, Canada buys 1.9 million cars each year.
49,000 Chinese EVs are that much of a threat to the domestic industry?
@CailinasEirinn you need someone they respect to show them how and who to hate. we aren't born with it. a child might hate a person because they did something they didn't like but it the person, not everyone.
@ThomasHall17 It seems holding a city hostage for 3 weeks, shutting down $4 billion in international business, planning to murder police, attempting to overthrow the govt, and hang the PM, all while Ford hides at his cottage and refuses to send in sufficient police is not an emergency…
A fatality inquiry will likely look at one case at one moment in time… and this is NOT a one case one site issue…
I will happily take the stand to explain to the public and judges what our teams are going thru every day in our EDs…
The HCWs and the pt did NOT stand a chance
There is no evidence this conversation took place in front of kids in a classroom. I am deeply disappointed by her own party members referring to transgender children as feces and their constituents as motherf*ckers.
@RobinHoodlum it's only bad if it's not the ucp sh*tting on people. they have a mandate to do whatever they want(according to smith) just want the next gov to have same mandate and maybe go one further and throw them in jail if there is even a hint of wrong doing.
