@phanto_m11@Ethicalsunrise@Goreunit We are free to ask our army why they are still using such old aircrafts, but they have the audacity to mock the loss of life of our armed personnel. Difference between questioning and mocking. Although the loss of life would have been regrettable, I'd say they deserve this.
@someplaosint IAF still operates 50+ HS748 (1960s aircraft), 100+ AN32 (1970s-80s aircraft). Only now have they begun inducting C295s to replace the HS748s. The MTA tender to 'replace' AN32 has been floating for several years with no clear conclusion, will probably take atleast 5 years more.
@AaplaMulund @mid_day Very tragic incident. Also very tragic is the fact your try to bring in party politics and back it up using sm AI slop. The man worked two jobs.
Young man commits suicide -> Job crisis, online giants, MSMEs and caste politics. Correlation where?
@Kakashii2O12406 It may be reasonable to think that AMCA will be on par with J35 in terms of stealth characteristics, i.e, quality, but the Chinese have a sheer advantage in terms of quantity. J35 is already in service, and a few thousand will be produced by the time our AMCA enters service
@RedSmiley123@shazia34950978@someplaosint You don't find any official documents saying AMCA's stealth is not up to F35 level. Do you find official documents saying AMCA's stealth is up to F35 level? I mean, F35 has 1500 built, AMCA has 0 prototypes built. Don't like seeing my country at a disadvantage, but here we are.
@singh080296@manjeetnegilive@DRDO_India@larsentoubro Adding to my argument about cruise missiles, yes, advanced ADS means that subsonic missiles cannot be the tip of the spear anymore. You need faster, stealthier weapons for SEAD and DEAD. Once you have airsuperiority, no need to waste money on suchweapons, use cruise missiles.
@singh080296@manjeetnegilive@DRDO_India@larsentoubro And lets trust that those making these decisions, those behind these machines, are far more educated and have far more experience in this field than keyboard warriors like you and me. Although, currently, it seems you are far more misinformed than I am.
@singh080296@manjeetnegilive@DRDO_India@larsentoubro Just because something sounds futuristic doesn't mean it replaces everything. Drones evolve, so do C-UAS. EW evolves, so does counter-EW. DEW have several fundamental issues. Cruise missiles are not going anywhere, they will be evolving. Warfare has always been brutal btw
@singh080296@manjeetnegilive@DRDO_India@larsentoubro This applies to literally everything. Tanks, artillery pieces, naval vessels, low-flying helicopters, runways, radars, infantry, everything can be targeted by drones. Are we abandoning them all starting tomorrow and shifting to drone-only warfare?
@nolanmr408@VivekSi85847001 Aerodynamics is not the primary objective of tank/IFVdesign. Main objectives are survivability (armor geometry), reliability and carrying-capacity. Aerodynamics would compromise all 3. Also, aerodynamic drag at these speeds is quite small as compared to other forces.
