COA ORDERS RETURN OF ₱375M OVP CONFIDENTIAL FUNDS



The Commission on Audit has disallowed ₱375 million in confidential funds of the Office of Vice President Sara Duterte, citing serious breaches of spending rules.

The funds, released in three ₱125M cash advances in 2023, are now ordered returned by VP Duterte and accountable officials.

COA flagged key issues in the spending:

• Unauthorized handling of funds – cash advances were transferred to individuals not designated as accountable officers

• Unproven “confidential operations” – at least ₱62 million in rewards lacked proof of successful intelligence activities

• Questionable procurement – nearly ₱199 million in expenses were supported only by acknowledgment receipts, not valid invoices

• Prohibited reimbursements – some expenses were made even before cash advances were granted. | via Marianne Enriquez/News5

Sabi mo sa interview mo with Karen Davila: “Parang ako pa 'yung under investigation, akusado.”

1. Hindi ka under investigation. Under review lang daw ng legal team ng Malacañang yung position or designation mo as Special Adviser kasi nga – may conflict sa Constitution at Local Government Code.

Kahit nga si Mayor Vico Sotto sinabi sa isang interview just this week na FULL TIME job ang pagiging Mayor and the LGC says that a Mayor cannot have any other occupation or preoccupation.

Hindi lang nag viral pero documented and galing sa sarili mong bibig sa isang interview nuong September 21 rally with GMA News ang sabi mo: “Minsan nga napapabayaan ko na yung trabaho ko bilang Mayor ng Baguio.”

Mag move on ka na dapat from ICI! Ikaw naman ang nag resign di ba.

2. Kung under investigation ka man, bakit ka magagalit? Wala dapat exempted sa scrutiny.

May project ang Discaya funded by Baguio City LGU budget. Bakit hindi pwedeng tanungin?
