My final engagement in South Africa was yesterday in Johannesburg with my interaction with Nigerians in the diaspora. The discussions were frank, emotional, and deeply reflective of the realities confronting our people both at home and abroad.
The conversation was interrupted several times by passionate questions bordering on diplomacy, the treatment of Nigerians in foreign countries, the political situation back home, and the growing desire of many young Nigerians abroad to return home and contribute meaningfully to nation-building, if only the environment becomes conducive.
I also reminded our people that the respect any citizen receives abroad is often tied to how respected their nation is at home. A country that works, protects its institutions, upholds justice, and cares for its people naturally commands global respect. This is why leadership and governance must remain people-oriented, accountable, and rooted in competence and integrity.
While acknowledging the frustrations and pains many expressed, I emphasized the need for all of us to continue to conduct ourselves within the ambit of the law, irrespective of the provocation or difficulties we face. Nation-building demands discipline, civic responsibility, and the willingness to pursue change through constructive engagement.
The interaction further reinforced my belief that Nigerians across the world remain hopeful about the future of our nation despite the present challenges. Our task as leaders is to inspire that hope with sincerity, measurable action, and a commitment to building a secure, productive, and inclusive Nigeria.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
Now 600+ entities, states, governors and past (and now updated) present president. I also included alleged sponsors of Boko Haram & ISWAP.
Happy Friday, Nigerians
@OlaOlukoyede_, under your watch, Alh Yahaya Bello is about to contest for Senate.

They set a trap for PO. He dribbled them and jumped it.
Now that they've seen it's no use, and they have so many disgruntled middleweight politicians who lost their primaries, which has the very real potential of anti-partt activities, they're trying to compensate them by voiding that law so they can defect.
They'll be sponsored in those other parties to contest while also acting as moles and disruptors. If they succeed and win, they'll defect to APC.
The NDC must resist the urge to accommodate such politicians; because they'll surely come with a lot of tempting money
Look at the abandoned Enugu railway system.
We urgently need to revive our railways and create new ones.
Pause a second and imagine if you can move from Enugu to Abia to Anambra to IMO to Ebonyi via high speed reliable trains.
Goods can move as well and heavy trucks can be eliminated from our roads.
The South East economy will boom. Thousands of lives will be saved.
SEDC should focus on this and get it done. If this is the only thing they can achieve, it will be more than enough.
Is that why I got a call from your comms team even after resigning from the ADC?
I wish you well, but please tell your comms team to stop calling or sending out messages to my number because I am no longer a member of the ADC.
Let us be honest. If the ADC chooses a candidate who represent the same old politics, then nothing changes. If nothing changes, then young Nigerians will face another four years of rising food prices, unemployment, fear, hopelessness, and drift.
If you agree, on Monday get in my line and support my nomination.
After he waited for 4 years to win a major trophy in the Carmel League.
Most of you had the effrontery to say that he has conquered the Carmel League even after 4 attempts.
Ronaldo fans should have small shame.
If you still think that fast midget in USA League who has been quiet for over a year now, is the Greatest of all Time, then you are being dishonest and deceiving only yourself.
Cristiano Ronaldo is the Greatest footballer of all time!
Today, I had the pleasure of receiving a delegation of aspirants from Zamfara State led by Senator Kabiru Marafa. I thanked them for their confidence and belief in the vision of the NDC and in the leadership of Senator Kabiru Marafa.
I told the delegation that Senator Marafa has consistently distinguished himself as a courageous fighter for what is right, fair, and just, and that these shared values are part of the reason we are together in the NDC. I thanked them for standing firmly behind his leadership and for their trust in the future we are collectively working to build through the party. I assured them that, by the grace of God, the NDC will continue to engage with the people of Zamfara State and support every genuine effort aimed at bringing positive change to the state.
I equally had the pleasure of receiving Hon. Nasiru Sule Garo, the Kano State Commissioner for Environment and Climate Change. We had a useful interaction on the need for committed leadership and collective action in addressing the numerous challenges facing our country.
It was also a pleasure to have received leading Nollywood actor Emeka Ike, who led his team on a courtesy visit and made a presentation of gifts to me. I thanked him for the kind gesture and appreciated his goodwill and support for our party.
The growing support the NDC continues to receive from different states across the federation is a strong indication that Nigerians are ready for purposeful leadership and genuine democratic change. Together, with unity, courage, and determination, we will continue to strengthen this movement and work towards building a nation that works for all.

Congratulations to Ronaldo for finally winning a trophy in Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo should at least recognize his teammates because they won it together.
The graphics should have other Al Nassr top players with Ronaldo at the centre of it all.
His teammates won't be happy.
@Obitrize_042 The promise of a New Nigeria is well beyond a dream. It has to be concretized in our lifetime. The journey may be tough, rough and long; but it's achievable as we march solidly with @PeterObi. A New Nigeria is Possible.
The court judgement removing timeline for defection to political party could be a window for APC to plant moles in opposition parties like NDC. NDC should properly screen politicians defection to the party, to prevent APC and Tinubu from infiltrating the party.
We visited these schools today in Abia State to spread the good news of mathematics.
This is in preparation for 2027 South East Maths Olympiad.
We will be the greatest workforce in Africa in 10 years.
Let me tell you how it happened. Nigeria’s ginger export hit zero from N26 billion within 3 years.
The official story blames fungal blight.
But here is what actually happened. When Nigerian farmers lost their indigenous seed supply, grant-aided interventions arrived with replacement seeds.
An associate professor at Lagos Business School flagged publicly that some of those interventions involved GMO organisms that weakened indigenous crops and compromised soil health.
That is not a conspiracy theory because it is a documented academic concern.
Now that Nigeria spoke got destroyed by the GMO seedlings….what is not the result?
Nigeria was forced to import ginger from China to fill domestic demand. Chinese ginger has none of the pungency, oleoresin content, or quality that made Nigerian ginger a global premium product. And the ginger now sitting in Nigerian markets tastes like wood because it essentially is wood.
The two indigenous varieties that built Nigeria’s global ginger reputation, the Tafin Giwa and Yatsun Biri, had decades of soil relationship and quality built into them.
Once the soil was degraded and those seed varieties were displaced, the product that returned was a pale imitation. Nigeria did not just lose a market. It lost a seed. And without a National Ginger Seed Bank, which nobody has built, it may never fully get it back.
