Denzel Boston is going to crush a lot of Patriots fans dreams when he runs a 4.4 and starts “shooting up draft boards”.
He would be a no-brainer pick at 31 if he’s there though.
Go routes are one of his most frequently run routes this year and is also one of the routes he wins on the least throughout his career. In-breakers are where he’s at his best. It’s about playing to his strengths, not having him run sacrificial cardio routes downfield to clear space and cater to a scheme that very clearly is not working.
@takeithowyoucan@Brycen2047 He made 4 SB won 2 of them and has a career playoff win percentage above .500
His only roadblock from better numbers was the greatest QB/HC tandem of all time at the absolute peak of their dominance… can’t knock him for not overcoming that when no one else could either.
@Brett_Pats Lighting “a fire under Drakes ass” is only going to lead to him pressing even more and playing hero ball, imo. The focus needs to be on making things easier for him and giving him answers to what the defense is throwing at him.
@J0n_12 It’s annoying but at the very least the guy consistently knows where to be and doesn’t drop the ball, which is the bare minimum expectation but also a big step up from what they’re getting right now
#Patriots QB Drake Maye postgame:
“I think it’s disappointing. I think when the ball starts rolling like that, we can’t get out of our own way and I can’t get out of my own way, personally. I gotta look at myself in the mirror and take this as a turning point. It’s Week 3.”
