@TheNickRudman@WeekendAtBuseys@Savageboston@_AndrewCallahan@985TheSportsHub Positional value matters, but isn't the end all. Jeanty is not a run of the mill RB and this draft was weak at the higher positional values. In THIS draft, Jeanty was the first or second best pick available at 4, accounting for positional value and everything else.
@newftbj Belichick was in a ridiculously difficult position in 2017. Brady was 40, we all know the history of QBs when they get to their 40s. If Belichick had a crystal ball, he would have done things a bit different. As it stands, we got another SB out of it, and almost 2.
@lm110399 And they won the SB in 2018 with this short-term top heavy roster strategy. 2019, if only one or 2 things swing different like Harry not being a total bust, then maybe we make it past Vrabel's Titans.
The dynasty had to end, and it ended with 3 SB trips in 4 years.
@ljbmvp@newftbj Wow, you know absolutely nothing. Bill built the 2018 SB team top heavy to win with Brady after Kraft said he couldn't trade him in 2017. Isaiah Wynn was a good LT who suffered injury troubles. Harry was a bust but the vast majority of people liked the pick at the time.
@TannedCans@newftbj ๐๐คฃ๐๐คฃ๐ He did that to make sure there was no money for Brady? ๐๐คฃ๐๐คฃ๐ Get real, that makes absolutely 0 sense. Dumbest comment of the year
@noiseux_r@newftbj 100% The 2018 roster was top heavy too and we won the SB. Belichick always does what's best for the team. When he couldn't trade Brady to plan for the future, he switched to short-term planning to win as much as he could now not knowing how many years of Brady he had left.
@Savageboston Cam played for $1M. Salary cap isn't magic, the roster was simply in a state that wasn't going to be very good in 2020. This isn't new, it happened at times like 2006, because, well, dynasty is HARD. Brady didn't have the time to stick this one out though, he was 42.
Not wanting to see Campbell at LT isn't about wanting to see him fail. It's actually quite the opposite.
He's at his best when he's on the move a bit more and can really let loose. Play nasty. I keep thinking of Logan Mankins, who could play some solid LT at times also
@SterlingP1994@MJRodnick ๐๐คฃ๐ Nah you're right Rodriguez and Corum are the cream of the crop, not some of those scrubs on the left ๐๐คฃ๐. Know less.
@bendee983 That's quite irrelevant considering compilers change and there is more than 1, the same code won't generate the same binary over different compilers and versions. Different machine code, same behavior expectations.
@SterlingP1994@MJRodnick Your world may be back and white but reality isn't. Bad vision doesn't mean he never finds a hole in his life. Even Trent Richardson found a hole some of the time ๐๐คฃ
