@JaredWeiker@salesprocapital@theficouple Coupon is income, so you are not yielding over 5% without paying tax. Nominal yield sounds great til 10 years of inflation so would need growth assets as well which means lower yield. $120k per year on $2.5m for 40-50 years adjusted for inflation is not realistic
@DagnyTaggartUSA@ijoshuajohnson Get it delivered from Walmart. They run promos for 55/year and includes paramount+ or peacock. If organic is a must, then ya that's the price. My weekly grocery bill is 1/4 that for a family of 4. Almost everything i buy from Walmart is at least $1 cheaper than grocery store
@OhioTate@stoolpresidente Vegas is a joke. Bottles 4× retail to start, add 34%, and then tax this new inflated number. Pay for the privilege too. Vegas tourism down for a reason.
@Mappy6984 For me depends on the alcohol. If you get a $100 bottle of wine for example, I am not tipping $20 on something that is already double retail unless it was something recommended that knocked my socks off. In most cases 20% on food fine, but rarely on alcohol at nice restaurants.
@Hallbm03Hall@KobeissiLetter AI slop? The software sector is down 30% because of the massive threat AI is posing to it. Software engineer jobs are being eliminated cause AI can do it. Gen Zs with no coding experience are creating full blown games and apps with AI coding. Far from slop.
@WheelandDeal_ @money_cruncher Short term cash needs should stay in cash and not be invested. These money market funds are one of the closest things you can get to a risk-free investment. Very different from stock funds...
@ttmarket@edgaralandough Now do it over the last 20 years like OP stated, as opposed to your abbreviated timeframe where US large growth has dominated.
