A #Hyderabad Woman Dies in Road Accident in #NewJersey, US

A 42-year-old woman from Aakuthotapalli village in Amangal mandal, Rangareddy district, died in a road accident in New Jersey, USA.

The deceased has been identified as Sripathi Deepa, 42 years, According to her family members, Deepa was dropping her husband, Ramakrishna Reddy, at a metro station when another car reportedly collided with her vehicle. She died on the spot.

New Jersey police have reportedly taken the driver of the other vehicle into custody.

Deepa’s family resides in Teachers Colony, Hastinapuram, Hyderabad. The family is now mourning her sudden death and has appealed to the government to facilitate the early repatriation of her mortal remains to India.

Deepa had moved to the US with her husband, Ramakrishna Reddy, in 2008. The couple, who have two children, had been settled in the US for several years and were working in the software sector.

The family said Deepa was scheduled to return to India from the US in two days, but tragically lost her life in the road accident before her planned journey.

Her family members have also stated that Deepa’s organs will be donated.
