Yesterday I got a DM from a brand on IG. They wanted to collab with me and asked me to email them. I sent the email within a few hours and notified them on IG.

Today, I get an email from them saying there is no opportunities at the moment and no budget for a collab (???)

I thought that was really.. strange? Why DM me and ask if I want to collab to then basically say “no thanks” hours later? 😂

Now: AITA for DMing them on IG about the response? I basically told them I didn’t understand the reasoning and that it felt unprofessional.

@kylanorrie_smm I would kindly remind them of your progress as well as that SMM is long term. It’s not a get viral quick thing. If they care about quality and a good relationship with their community, they would understand that. Clients who don’t are often not worth it in the long run.
