I have three go-to affirmations I use anytime I need to ground myself:
I am safe.
I am protected.
I am in control.
I repeat them to myself until it almost feels silly, until I fully believe it.
What you see: Confidence. Courage. Showing up.
What it took: Building and rebuilding. Sometimes in small steps, repeated until it becomes easier to embrace.
I'm excited to announce the release of my 4th journal, Little Acts of Courage.
It's designed to help you acknowledge how you're already showing up, and motivate you to keep going, one small step at a time. https://t.co/QxsRVgorHW
Most of what I actually do isn't about regulating anyone's nervous system. It's about understanding the patterns that put you there in the first place.
I've completed trauma-informed breathwork training and have real, specific education in how breath connects to the nervous system. That expertise is genuine, but it's also a limited scope. I speak about it narrowly because it isn't my focus.
If you've tried therapy, coaching, and self-help books and still feel stuck, that's not a sign nothing works. It's a sign you haven't gotten underneath the pattern yet.
