@robhawkes 32A (7.5kW) is such a huge load, a third of the maximum house supply. We added heat pump on the garage board and started tripping out the 40A fuse. Currently limiting the car to 16A in software to prevent waking up to no heating, until we get EVSE rewired.

@robhawkes I put our EV supply equipment on the garage box but it was a mistake. Better to put it on something called a Henley block from the meter tails and run a long dedicated armoured cable. If you later add home battery gateway and/or solar, you will want your EVSE completely separate.

@g__j November for us was the first Agile month where Intelligent would have been better. Obviously, both are much cheaper than Flexible. December Agile went behind last week but pulled ahead again as prices dropped this week. 4bed semi, heat pump and EV@15k miles/yr, no home batt/PV.

Tomorrow will breach 50p by 8am and the peak will be capped everywhere. Wind power returns Fri/Sat and nuclear generation is slowly ramping back but won't do much.

@Accor It's laudable in theory to limit the use of cooling. In practice, my room was too hot to sleep in November with external temperature 10C. The window hardly opened, and when it was open, the proximity of trains squealing over points also made it impossible to sleep!

@g__j I haven't quite got a year's Agile data yet, but here's my savings vs Flexible. It's a total no-brainer for many and you don't need a home battery - I just have EV but even without you could save with just a little care. The more electrified, the more saving and the lower CO2e.
