I just want to say that season 2 of #TheBearFX is EVEN BETTER than season 1. Oh, yeah... I've said it! I was losing my mind and on the edge of my seat.
Also, it's so nice to know that Olivia Colman is a BIG #TheBearFX fan like myself. Made my day ☺️
This is one helluva day, the ending of @MaiselTV 😭, season 2 finale of @BlindspottingTV 😭,season 2 finale of @yellowjackets96 And #BarryHBO on Sunday?! What a weekend... Also, pay the writers, thanks to them I get to experience every one of these pieces of art
Remember when a24 said the budget for EEAAO was $35m…when it was actually just $15m bc they knew we’re trained to believe that bigger budget = better movie, which couldn’t be further for the truth?
True story!
This *original* $15m kicked a bunch of huge budgets butts tonight!
to give jamie lee curtis an oscar when stephanie hsu literally killed her role as joy wang in everything everywhere all at once is actually ridiculous i’m pissed https://t.co/KKDj7K9Q0V
we all have our preferences on what should've won more, but EVERYWHERE EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE is one of the weirdest, most audacious and pure-hearted Best Picture winners ever, an immigrant story remix of THE MATRIX, Wong Kar-wai and kung fu and I can't be anything but thrilled
This is the first time since the Best Picture expansion in 2009 that half of the Best Picture lineup has gone home empty-handed: Elvis, TÁR,The Banshees of Inisherin, The Fabelmans, and Triangle of Sadness all won nothing. #Oscars
The Jamie Lee Curtis win has at least one upside: now we know that all Pfeiffer, Stone, Weaver, Basset & Bening need to win their Oscar is a supporting, almost elevated cameo role they would knock out of the park in a crowdpleaser and voilà.
I better not see hot takes / think pieces tomorrow dragging Angela Bassett for having a human reaction as a Black woman who’s been in this emotionally violent industry for DECADES
