Yesterday I achieved a break through with some reluctant readers! I have been trying to find a book for these students since Year 7 , they are now Year 9 , to see their faces light up and engage with a book when I showed them ‘ You are a champion’! Just brilliant #marcusrashford

My line manager mentioned starting AR in the library ! In my 5 years in the job I’ve not heard many positive comments about it , I suggested trialing it with a group of students first ..
I also teach all Year 7 & 8 library lessons so pretty busy ..
Any advice out there ? Thanks x

Like so many other school librarians I’m busy getting the library ready for the new academic year. I printed a report for the top read books of last year , ‘ Diary of a Wimpy kid ‘ came out top , I’m really interested to know what were other top read books in other schools? 📚 😊
