If you all are out and about in Lexington, KY this weekend, stop by Barnes & Noble Hamburg Pavilion and pick up your signed copy of Excavating Fate.
@Monica55dzrh I always tip 20-40 percent depending on the service. If I can afford a $500 bill, I can tip the server the going rate. But this might just be a me thing.
@marioliveirain Thank them and enjoy it. If someone took the time to cook for me, I appreciate it. They took time and put effort into the meal. It means a lot.
@SedonaCAuthor I knooooow, right? It’s such a grind. I want to stay in my hidey hole, licking the Dorito dust off my fingers while contemplating my next scene, then jump into writing when my chip bag is empty. Instead, I have to do videos and signings & leave the house, haha.
@halswarrington For me, I just want an agent who cares enough about my work and my vision as an author to put their best foot forward. Also, a professional connection is important, of course. Doesn’t matter if they’re new or been in the business 30 years.
@ReaganFaerwyn I got one yesterday telling me they liked the elements but not enough to champion it. Then they ended by telling me they know I’ll see success in my publishing journey. Ugh!!!! This was from a query I sent a month ago. I’ve revised the pkg 3 X so maybe this one will go well.
@AvesBooks@NanribetCornel1@EvernightTeen What about if the protagonist is an adult psychotherapist but her client is a 17yo teen. She has POV time but it is an adult supernatural thriller that focuses on mental health issues.
