@mrbcounseling7 So sorry for your loss! I love when you say, “trying to focus on the good times”. For me these would be trips to library, fancy dinners, riding in his 1960 corvette T- top stingray (bc it was his dream). Him visiting me in France and spain, train set he set up our last Christmas

@mrbcounseling7 Over the past 14 years, I have prayed, talked to him, lit candles, shared his legacy with with my kids, printed the last pic I have of him feeding the birds in the snow with my 1.5 year old. Next, I want to create a tapastry, wall hanging or pillow w his fav shirt
@mrbcounseling7 Brings back a lot for me. Daddy died on May 1 2010, massive heart attack. He called the night prior. I did not answer or return his call. I flew 12 hours to memorial service with my 2 year old, so I could process, support mom and hold his ashes.
@CatherineKU72 Also need to disagree. This is an opportunity for everyone. I’d like to understand more about the reasons for not agreeing to this ask - whether it come from student, parent, counselor or other colleague. We have NO idea what our students are going thru, or have been thru in past
