Today at Mountain Valley, we celebrated the Month of the Military Child. Our military children were recognized at our pep rally and treated to delicious donuts! #MonthoftheMilitaryChild #Comalisd

This hit me in my heart. 💔 On this day, Jesus washed his disciples’ dirty feet, dined with them for the last time, and gave a new commandment: love one another as He had loved them.

He knew how hard it would be for them. And so then he modeled it… by becoming “the least of these”…

No matter how he was treated.
Now matter how much he was rejected.
No matter what…

Jesus spent his whole life engaging with people that most of us try to avoid. He simply continued loving and serving, until He reached his last breath.

I have so much work to do on myself. 💔
