The heavy dominance of the car and the disconnect of green spaces with communities. The design outcome, inspired by the island's cultural heritage has positively shown how these challenges can be overcome setting the foundation for resilient, people-centred communities.

Founders Development in partnership with renowned Oppenheim Architecture, recently unveiled Smartland, a cutting-edge residential complex in Pyla. Through our role as Local Architects, we framed two urban challenges faced by residential communities in Cyprus today.

From a graduate symposium, planned as f2f, ended up online due to covid, to discovering a community of like-minded PhD students and extremely supportive academics, culminating to a special issue at Migration Studies. Wow! I am so grateful @swessendorf @lucy_hunt! What a journey!

Στη Δανία το 1/6 του πληθυσμού ζει σε κοινωνική κατοικία. Υπάρχουν περίπου 573.000 κοινωνικές κατοικίες στη Δανία, το 1/5 του συνολικού οικιστικού στόκ. Στην Κύπρο, υπάρχουν 5.000 μονάδες (βλ. ΚΟΑΓ), το 1/100 του συνολικού οικιστικού στόκ (απογραφή του 2021)... need to say more?
