“Pet Sematary” is from Ramones’s 1989 album Brain Drain. Written by Dee Dee Ramone, the song was inspired by Stephen King’s novel Pet Sematary and written for the 1989 film adaptation. The song came about after Stephen King, a longtime Ramones fan, invited the band to his home in Maine while they were on tour.
