I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you. Over time, a number of you have become more than familiar voices on a screen, you’ve become people I respect.
What you provided everyday to each broadcast cannot be overstated. The stories brought us closer to the horses and personalities of those who care for them. The insight, the timing, the feel for a race—it doesn’t come from notes, it comes from experience and pride of ownership. You’re seeing things most people miss and explaining them in a way that lands. For those of us on farms, on the backside, or in the day-to-day grind that matters.
Your enthusiasm is genuine, and that’s harder than it looks. This sport can test people. It’s unpredictable, it’s demanding, and it doesn’t always give back what you put in. But you still show up with energy, with belief, and with a respect for the horse. You remind people why they care in the first place.
More than anything, I want to acknowledge the responsibility you carry and how well you handle it. You’re not just covering racing—you’re shaping how it’s understood, perceived and remembered. The way you speak about our horses, the honesty in your analysis, and the respect you show the industry reflects a level of stewardship that this sport needs. It doesn’t go unnoticed. I’m grateful for the work you do, and even more for how you represent our industry.
Thank you.
