Generative AI feels a lot less mysterious once you understand a few simple ideas.
You don’t need math or technical jargon to understand why it gets things right, why it makes things up, and what to do about it.
So I built a free, no-login course. 🧵
It’s free and doesn’t require an account:

It’s worth opening on a computer, where the interactive experiences work best.
Feedback is very welcome 🙌

I tested the material with my wife, who is a journalist. She went through it entirely on her own, and I saw a clear improvement in both her understanding of AI and how she uses it in her day-to-day work.
@itshsilva @mateuspontes@raelmax@marcelometal Sofisticado. Não conhecia não. Como fica o preço do whiskey numa eventual guerra? Sobe? Demanda aumenta? Tem terreno pra plantar os grãos?
@TeamYouTube Yes, I’ve already reinstalled and I’m in the last app version 17.06.3. It seems a recent bug because It was working 2 or 3 days ago. And I’m in the last iOS version 15.3.1.
@TeamYouTube Is there a way to disable auto caption default? I’d like to have my app language in English and watch any other videos in other languages without to explicitly remove caption. It’s extremely annoying to have to disable every single video or shorts.
@TeamYouTube Thanks, but that's the problem. The flag "Closed Captions + SDH" is disabled and the app still displays closed captions by default. The only way I found to overcome this was change the app's language, but that's not what I'd like.
I’m using the last iOS app version 17.06.3. It seems to me a concept error or a bug to associate the preferred app language and the ability to choose auto caption. They’re two completely different things. I can speak more than one language and I don’t need caption for them.
