@levelsio It sounds pretty sound to me if a company fails to prevent accounts like adolph88hitler saying all trans people must be killed this company should not be allowed to operate. It’s also a law that companies should have legal representation. Musk thinks he doesn’t need to comply.

@levelsio That said, I do understand your point about Europe not having as many tech startups as the US. I’m not in this area, but I’d also assume the VC available in each European country would be way smaller than what is available in the US.

@levelsio Honest question, did Uber start operating in Europe on day 1, or did Uber launch in the US and used its gigantic single market to start the operation before expanding? I can’t imagine a company at the scale Uber maturing in the Irish market to get the investment needed to expand

Brazil gets hammered - disproportionately - when there is an inflation scare in the US. This happened mid-2022 when the Fed switched to hiking in 75 bps increments and it's happening again now as Fed rate cuts are getting priced out. None of this has anything to do with Brazil...
