1. Most people want an intimate relationship. don’t just hope for one. define what it would actually look like. picture an ordinary dinner with the people you love. if you’re going to have 10,000 dinners in your lifetime, you might as well get them right.

2. Put your family in order. listen to them. repair what can be repaired. if someone refuses every attempt at communication, walk around them. but don’t neglect the relationships that can be saved. making your family a priority has cascading positive consequences.

3. Surround yourself with people who celebrate your successes and genuinely support you when life gets hard. if someone keeps pulling you down while you’re trying to aim higher, it may be time to let them go. choose friends who encourage your growth instead of rewarding your excuses.

4. Whether it’s a job or a calling, have a plan. become the kind of person employers want to bet on. learn new skills, improve your resume, prepare for opportunities, and keep putting yourself out there. people become successful every day. one of them could be you.

5. Never stop developing yourself. keep learning. stay on the edge of your abilities instead of settling into comfort. invest in your education so you’re always becoming more capable than you were yesterday.

6. Treat yourself like someone you’re responsible for. take care of your body and mind. don’t let your habits or temptations decide the direction of your life. decide the kind of person you want to be, then build habits that move you toward that person.

7. Develop a vision for your life. if you don’t write your own story, you’ll become a character in someone else’s. without a clear aim, you’ll be driven by your impulses or by other people’s expectations. a meaningful life begins with deciding what you’re aiming at.

1. The Flamingos (Ferals) have four men on their "women's" rugby team.

2. The top three women's teams that play in the same league all have men on them.

3. The Ferals won all of their games against teams that didn't have men.

4. In the single game where they lost by a huge margin, their star male player did not play.

5. Goon has described this male player as incredibly fast and that no one can catch him. The other men are over 6 feet tall. All are relatively inexperienced, they appear to be rookies who have never played before and the other appears to have played only one year, yet two of the men have scored the majority of goals. Goon credits their success with "good coaching."

6. Goon seems to believe men have no advantage over women if the team with more men wins. He ignores the teams without men that were crushed by the teams with men all season. He also ignores the fact that some men are just bad at sports.

7. When an athletic man played on this team, the score was 36-27, Ferals. When he did not play, the score was 5-70. Goon again blames this on coaching and "who was available to play." Obviously, the key individual who was not "available to play" that day was a man.

His presence determined the outcome of every game. Without him, not one woman scored.

8. USA Rugby has not "banned" anyone. They require men to play on men's teams or on open teams because women need an actual women's league.

9. There is no discussion about women who play in men's leagues because they have no advantage and are only putting themselves at risk, something they understand and are bearing the responsibility of.

10. No story can encompass every angle, but this story is told entirely from the perspective of men who say whatever they want and Goon expects his readers to believe them. It also appears he has interviewed their teammates, some of whom are "trans" identified themselves (there are women who pretend to be men and who call themselves nonbinary on the team as well).

11. Goon has shut off comments so he cannot be corrected.

Sir, this is simply indefensible. Your entire article is ridiculous. Those of us familiar with men in women's sports have endured over decades of the same slop coming out of reporters, praising these shameful teams and players.

They are violating the rules. Do you understand this? What they are doing is WRONG. It is UNFAIR. It is DANGEROUS.

And your article very much appears to be advocating for this.

Als jemand, der in Genf Politologie studiert und sich dort intensiv mit Poppers Werk „Die offene Gesellschaft und ihre Feinde“ beschäftigt hat, hat mich besonders seine klare Ablehnung des Marxismus und sein unbedingtes Plädoyer für individuelle Freiheit geprägt.

George Soros hat seine Stiftung nach genau diesem Werk benannt. Als Student Poppers in London müsste er es eigentlich besser wissen. Manchmal frage ich mich allerdings, ob wir wirklich das gleiche Buch gelesen haben.

Denn was Soros und seine Open Society Foundations fördern – marxistisch inspirierte und woke-linke Projekte, die Gleichheit (Equity) systematisch über individuelle Freiheit stellen, Kritik unterdrücken und kulturelle Identitäten auflösen wollen –, steht in krassem Widerspruch zu Poppers Ideen.

Poppers offene Gesellschaft war zudem niemals ein Freibrief für grenzenlose Zuwanderung aus fremden Kulturen ohne echte Integration. Sie war ein Plädoyer für rationale Kritik, individuelle Freiheit und die Verteidigung liberaler Werte gegen jede Form von Totalitarismus – egal ob von links oder rechts.

Wer Popper wirklich gelesen hat, erkennt schnell: Die heutige instrumentalisierte Version der „Open Society“ durch George Soros ist eine Verkehrung seiner Ideen.

One of my longest-standing arguments is that we are not living in Orwell’s 1984, where truth is centrally suppressed and censored by force (that’s former communist societies, modern-day China, Russia, North Korea).

We are living in something much closer to Huxley’s Brave New World.

The truth is not hidden - it is almost always readily available. But it is buried beneath an industrial quantity of noise: propaganda, outrage, half-truths, conspiracy theories, influencer theatre, algorithmic rage bait and an endless stream of content designed not to inform us, but to keep us emotionally stimulated.

The modern information system does not need to censor the truth when it can simply drown it in noise.

A fact no longer has to be disproven - it only has to be surrounded by a hundred competing claims, stripped of context and nuance, turned into partisan ammunition and pushed into the same feed as celebrity gossip, memes and 15 second videos engineered to deliver the fastest possible dopamine hit. By the time the truth reaches us, it appears as just another piece of content competing for our attention.

That is the more sophisticated form of control: not preventing people from knowing, but exhausting their capacity to care.

Orwell feared a world in which people would be deprived of information. Huxley feared a world in which they would be given so much distraction, stimulation and triviality that they would lose the desire to seek it.

The defining struggle of our age is therefore not simply between truth and censorship, but between truth and indifference.

The diplomatic isolation of Israel during the war in Gaza following the Oct. 7 Hamas massacre will go down in history as a moral failure and a defeat of humanity, French philosopher Bernard-Henri Lévy said on Thursday.

“The absence of support for Israel will be considered by future historians as a moment of huge disgrace for the West,” Lévy told JNS in an interview in Tel Aviv. “It is a defeat of humanity and a moral defeat. It is the loss of any moral compass.”

Lévy, who lives in Paris, rushed to Israel the day after the Oct. 7 attacks and the following year penned Israel Alone, a book about the lack of diplomatic support for the Jewish state in the West.

“I was beyond shocked,” he said.

He was back in Israel on Thursday to deliver the keynote address at the annual conference on contemporary antisemitism hosted by the Comper Center for the Study of Antisemitism and Racism at the University of Haifa. The gathering is the largest annual academic conference on modern-day antisemitism, drawing an estimated 550 participants, including 250 in-person presenters, with others joining virtually from abroad.

The 77-year-old French intellectual, commonly known as BHL, decried the surge in antisemitism, which he called “unprecedented in my lifetime,” noting that he rarely gives lectures in France for security reasons and that the only safe place for him to speak in the United Kingdom is a synagogue.

“Even if I come to speak about philosophy or non-Jewish issues, the only safe place for me in the U.K. is a synagogue,” he said.

Here's the biggest plot hole in the "genocide" narrative: we're expected to believe that the most technologically advanced military in the region, using the most powerful weapons in existence, dropped the equivalent of 8.6 nuclear bombs' worth of conventional explosives on one of the most densely populated neighborhoods that's roughly the size of Manhattan in an attempt to exterminate a population with no access to bomb shelters, and yet after roughly a thousand days of war the result was the deaths of about 3.8% of the population, half of them armed terrorists, butchers and kidnappers and the rest human shields and risk-takers who refused to adhere to evacuation orders. And this is supposed to be the worst genocide ever? You have to be very ignorant and very Jew-hating to fall for this goyslop.
