Rookie numbers for now, but this is where it starts.
Leaving it here to track progress month by month.
I was in a phase when I really did not know what I wanted to do for a living. I had previously tried quite a few ways to make money online and did not succeed.
During that time, I had a friend who had just started learning programming, and he kept telling me about his progress and the cool things he was building with tutorials.
At first it did not interest me, because I did not consider myself smart enough to learn programming.
But after a few months, I decided to give it a shot. It was August, and I promised myself that I would learn coding every day until the end of the year.
And I did. A few more months passed, and I landed my first Junior role.
@virby_ai I doubt it will happen any time soon.
Many teachers are very set in their methods, and real change usually takes a long time.
It will probably take another generation.
@craigzLiszt Easier said than done.
Most people cannot keep this pace. It is better to have two or three hours of focused work for a specific goal.
In the long run, you will still outpace most people.
