@mattpocockuk In my experiences, everything looked pretty much like this, except we can't run full CI locally. We can run formatters and stuff locally, but most of the time pipeline fails in infrastructure things like terraform, which is almost impossible to run locally in full.
@FreyaHolmer Ha! When I first saw this screen when first using a mac 3 years ago I was so confused for a few seconds and had to google to see if this was a real thing. I legit questioned all my 28 years using computers right there.
@orteil42 Bought the Android version of cookie clicker, but the save format doesn't seem to be compatible with the web and the steam versions of the game. Is this intended? If so, any way to overcome this (like a format converter)?
Pro tip: If you make a PR on someone else's repo, a maintainer of that repo can commit to your fork's branch. This is very helpful for them to make minor changes.
Unless your PR is off of your fork's `main` branch. Then they can't do that.
Please don't make PRs off your main.
@Anopsy With my friends we sometimes would give times like those semi-unironically. Like if I depart at 12:14 and I know I always take 12 minutes to get there, you can know you'll arrive at 12:26, so why give any other time? :)
My brother, who owns a headset and is a professed fan of VR, is visiting. I tell him "hey before you go, you should try this new game, it's one of the best exclusive games on the newest headset on the market (Call of the Mountain on PSVR 2)."
He says "I don't know if I'm up for all of that."
This is the reality of VR friction today. It should be a no-brainer for someone to want to jump in with the offer of 'top content on top hardware', but as with most people who own a headset, there's a subconscious negative association with VR because it's always such a hassle to use it that it rarely feels worth the trouble, even if when you'd ask the person they say they love VR and it's so cool.
I see this all. the. time. Moving to standalone was a big step in the right direction, but VR still has to get 10x easier if it's going to go mainstream.
@ilove_aviation @cpt340 Há algum tipo de treino específico para estas situações, ou isto foi apenas grande capacidade de improvisação e técnica dos pilotos?
@trunarla What's more annoying is that in the spirit of the law, you should default to the essential cookies only, and all the others should be explicitly "opt-in". But the way these popups are designed, they always trick you into accepting all the cookies regardless. Not good.
@trunarla It's painful. At first I would carefully "Edit preferences" to make sure I just choose the essential cookies. But at some point, I gave up, and now I just "Accept All" and try to clean browser cookies more frequently.
