@Luas is it normal that on the red line at Abbey Street the next tram to Tallaght or Saggart is coming in 12 minutes? That’s a 20-minute gap between the previous one. How come?
@theintercept that hit piece you published about David Grusch was awful, I can’t believe I donated money to you before thinking your journalism was serious. Never again
@IrishRail Not sure where the demand is. This train is empty and so was the one that entered Bray northbound from Greystones. Services have been a complete mess all day.
@IrishRail Yes. The 18:44 southbound from Greystones is still on Platform 3, delayed. Greystones is always sacrificed for any hiccup in the system, any event at the Aviva messes up the whole timetable, etc. it’s ridiculous, nobody can rely on this
@IrishRail You should learn from other transportation systems like BART in the Bay Area, which at least speak to their customers frankly on their socials. Irish Rail is all empty apologies and cookie-cutter responses. Do you even care about running an efficient train system?
@IrishRail Thanks, please tell them that the return leg of my journey also had a delay. Currently sitting at Bray on the 18:44 train which hasn’t departed for an unknown reason. Your service is unreliable every single time and it’s so frustrating.
@IrishRail Thanks. The train terminated at Bray and I had to switch to one sitting at the platform. When events like today’s are on, where can we get a reliable timetable? This happens every time there is an event, trains running late, not showing up, etc.
@IrishRail And yet here we are with no train for what, an hour since the previous one? It’s a joke. I know you’re just a social media manager but seriously, this level of service is appalling
@IrishRail there was supposed to be a DART to Greystones from Dalkey at 19:32 and there is no sign of it. Random cancellations of services to Greystones every day. Why is that?
@IrishRail Thanks but you said in an earlier tweet that there would be extra services before and after the match. It’s always the same, 2 trains have gone by completely empty, in the Bray direction
