“Let us thank God that, though we are deeply flawed, by God’s grace, we are deeply loved and therefore not beyond repair. We are not lemons. We are beloved children of God.”
Believers are not hopeless in the struggle against sin.

@City_Ekurhuleni Can the mayor also get her team to fill in some potholes while they are out and about ;) - we are really struggling with poor roads damaging our vehicles
@CmelaneAsso The only way to fix it is to vote the ANC out. Then, once whomever gets into power after them also messes up, to then vote then out as well. Only power we have in a democracy, but it needs to be exercised else those in power will not feel any pressure to fulfill their duties.
Born not to a king, but a carpenter.
Born not in robes, but rags.
Born not into gold, but hay.
Born not in renown, but obscurity.
Born not in splendor, but a trough.
Born not to live, but die.
O, come let us adore Him!
How can the African church respond to the persistent and pervasive problem of extreme poverty on the continent? The book HELPING WITHOUT HURTING IN AFRICA attempts to address this question. This TGC Africa article reviews this very helpful book. https://t.co/nYF74IMtBr
It’s all too easy to make the Christian life mystical and completely miss the boat. May God help us to think more like our Saviour as we seek to live lives of muscular, rather than mystical, faith.

There was no red wave. Many will be talking about why, but not many are speaking about the fact that Americans share no common vision. Cooper Stuff offers what we believe to be the most important thing we can do to see the nation change.

@pastorjkljoiner Your “gospel” is one of unconditional love despite how people actively disobey God’s Word. But God is not a god of unconditional love and acceptance in the face of ongoing unrepentant sin. How many times did God have to chastise Israel for their sin?
Remember the time when a ‘clump of cells‘ “leaped for joy” in his mother’s womb at the sound of Mary’s voice? Weird. But not really.
God creates, forms us, knows us, loves us, knits” us together in the womb, and we are all made in His image.
Studies find a very weak correlation between wealth and contentment, and the more prosperous a society grows, the more common is depression. After basic needs are met, the things that human beings think will bring fulfillment and contentment don’t.
Dear Christian, never stagnate, never let your love for Jesus grown cold... never lose the wonder... there is nothing as pointless as Christianity without that love.
"In Him" we live and move (Acts 17:28).
"In Him" we have redemption (Eph 1:7).
"In Him" we have an inheritance (Eph 1:11).
"In Him" you were sealed (Eph 1:13).
"In Him" you are built together (Eph 2:22).
"In Him" we have boldness (Eph 3:12).
We are nothing without Christ.
Satan loves disunity, divisions, factions, dissensions, uproars, falsehoods, distortions, lies, compromise, cowardice, distraction, slander, and counterfeits.
Satan hates the body of Christ!
