My paper "Is Soft-Complementarianism Biblical? A Critical Evaluation" just got accepted to present at this year's Evangelical Theological Society's annual meeting (Nov 17-19). See you in Denver!
Fantastic discussion (and some light debating) about Scripture's depiction of women and what changed in @PrestonSprinkle's thinking.

A wonderful example of scholars discussing areas of agreement and disagreement with @PrestonSprinkle and Beth Allison Barr. Preston's book 'From Genesis to Junia' contains really well-structured and exegeted arguments for women in leadership, but Beth had some wider comments.
A topic near and dear to me. @jrrdodson has given us a lot of expert analysis in a very readable book (and it looks like @jamesmichael7 and I had the same idea!).

This Easter confronts us with a painful truth: many Christians have turned away from the way of the cross. Instead of following the crucified Christ, they align with the empire that crucified him—seeking power and influence.
