the way show rhaenyra doesn’t gaf about anybody but alicent at this point. they can make emma act their ass off all day mourning rhaenyra’s children but it’s useless in the end when they still entertain a two episode friendship
Chile está en su peor momento desde la vuelta a la democracia. El país entrará en una recesión económica si no se toman medidas. Lo avanzado en 30 años, Kast y Quiroz lo destruyeron en 3 meses!
distancing rhaenyra’s supporters/closed ones from her so they can push her more towards alicent is such a cheap attempt. baela was literally engaged to rhaenyra’s son, spent all the time fighting this war for her like no matter what she’s STILL your family ???
Its because this shitty as production chose to portray Rhaenyra as a rebel teen that was "changed " with motherhood. Milly was portraying a betrayed princess while emma portrays a sorrowful tired mother
@danyzstarlight They always made Rhaenyra love Alicent more than her own children.
When Rhaenyra had a miscarriage because of the ursurpation in S1, she called Otto a traitor but only had tears for a stupid page sent from Alicent
the writers thinks rhaenyra crashing out at a motherless child who had no one by her side is more valid than the grown ass woman who spent years sabotaging/bullying rhaenyra & her children and is a major root cause for this war. this is just misogynoir in name of sloppy feminism.
“She finds herself required to execute her father’s former best friend.” genuinely, where is the rhaenyra that saw the greens as the threat they were? pushing this former best friend narrative in whoever does nothing but undermine everything she had and lost because of them
Noting that again we have a lot of moral weight being assigned to a scene of a woman choosing to commit violence against someone who has put her own life in jeopardy in a way that never is for male characters
What happens when a man has a favorite female character. It’s like Tolstoy and Natasha Rostova who was his favorite, in the end of war and peace she became a broodmare. Same with Alicent, for a man a favorite fem character will always be something to fetishize and objectify
