Wanjiru is so bright, honest and precise.
I don't know her but I have seen her name in the list of Kenyans who will make it to heaven.
Inject it in my veins 🎤
Words fail me because of the overwhelming love and support you have shown me. I’m free. To the comrades who spent the night outside Kamukunji Police Station to protect me and ensure l was not moved in the middle of the night, asanteni. To my family, the legal team, and every Kenyan who stood by me, may God bless and protect you.
I was arrested in front of my children, and l wasn’t informed of the reason for my arrest. The police tracked me through my phone’s service provider without a warrant and also carried out an illegal search of our home.
Such things shouldn’t be happening in a democracy, and a country in which the President himself publicly claims that his is a government that respects the rule of law. But are we really a democracy? Which democracy shoots unarmed children and arrests citizens for displaying their national flag?
The intimidation will not stop me
Moving forward, Mambo Ni Matatu, that active citizens must focus on…
Mambo Ni Matatu
1. Justice. Prosecution of Japheth Koome and the field commanders on duty when peaceful protesters were murdered. Arrest and prosecution of individual officers who discharged their firearms unlawfully. Compensation for victims of the police killings. Interior Minister Kithure Kindiki isn’t fit to hold public office. Under his leadership, citizens have been abducted and murdered, and there has been a dramatic increase in femicides. Promoting him to Deputy President for murdering children is entrenching impunity and lawlessness.
2. Right to Citizenship. You cannot deny or sell us our national identity cards. It’s important that all Kenyans who have reached the age of 18 get issued with a voters card. It’s unconstitutional and illegal to deny citizens ID cards. Demand IDs and voters cards.
3. Accountability. His manifesto. Implementation of all constitutional reports. Debt audit. He fired incompetence and rehired rapists, murderers, and drug dealers. And most importantly, Ruto Must Go is the clarion call.
The struggle continues… #RutoMustGo
A secret cabal of players within the agrochemical industry has used its influence to suppress critics and push the sale of harmful chemicals, some of which have been linked to diseases like Parkinson’s across the globe. Jedidah Nkirote and her family have witnessed the devastating effects of these pesticides firsthand. #PoisonPR
Everyday I wake up, and go to sleep angry for many reasons (I live in Kenya).
But today, I will go to sleep especially angry about the fact that Kenyatta National Hospital, only has 5 (FIVE), ICU beds for Kenyan children.
FIVE.
Serving Kenyan children.
FIVE!!!
A Cameroonian has invented a noiseless generator that uses ONLY water to generate electricity
Mbah Ahmadou who hails from the north region of Cameroon has invented a generator which uses water to generate electricity. Steve Fah tested the generator, and it powered an air conditioner, a fan and a TV
He says, he has been working on the project for the past 4 years and it costed him over 13 million francs to finally succeed.
He says he can power the whole village with the water-generator but what he lacks now is proper investment.
One of the saddest stories I have seen on the internet today.
Mombasa Governor Abdullswamad Nassir's Errand Boys allegedly Sodomised Mombasa based blogger Bruce John for criticising Him.
The Video is Very Disgusting.
This Should go Viral until Bruce John Gets Justice!
