@NiecyOKeeffe Same reason I love this country. Back in Derry at Xmas too, I found a bank card on the street. I handed to my Ma and said, "Bet you've been waiting years for this, post it in the local Facebook groups." It took her less than an hour π
@CraicAddict89 Ah class, im jealous. If you're still out for more time yet, there's an insta account @belfastsessionguide that has all the best pubs with the music start times for each night.
@CraicAddict89 I miss living in Belfast so much. It has everything Dublin has but more condensed. That pub is savage, and Maddens around the corner always has class trad music. You need to ring the doorbell to get in too
@CraicAddict89 Same fear here, so many parties, gigs & weekends away that mean driving to the other end of the country. I looked at them all today and thought what the fuck was I thinking π«
@CraicAddict89 @JamesyHCBD Yeah, arguing with people like that is like playing chess with a pigeon. It's going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board, and strut around like it won anyway. I've wasted so much time doing it in the past on this topic.
@CraicAddict89 @JamesyHCBD Even today, the City Council, Airport, Rugby & Football team, and many institutions officially go by Derry, it's even on my passport. It's the "Derry City & Strabane District Council". So saying it's just a shortening is so ignorant of the past & present.
@NiecyOKeeffe Is this just the rich equivalent of me walking about my gaff arguing with myself out loud? π
Because surely it only knows what he knows anyway.
@Ciara87C He definitely has. Combat sports lately is a disgrace, constantly attempting to launder the reputation of criminals and rapists. They even showcased Russell Brand at recent events.
And why does this prick suddenly sound like an American impersonating a 2fm dj?
@CraicAddict89 I'm kind of cheating living an apartment where the one's around me are already blasting theirs, so I'm happy just stealing their heat for now π
