The last trip with the Talon before winter was on Halloween to visit @MyronVernis and check out Valley Vibes in OH. super great trip and the inaugural run of @RMetalgear new RX-7 turbo.
One of the cheap motor mounts I replaced on the Talon broke, which I plan to fix this winter.

The opening page of my German Eclipse catalog features a car on Borbet wheels, how German. While reading my Dec 95 Road & Track, I saw some ads for the Borbet Type C, the same wheel. I'd love to see a set with Mitsubishi caps like the photo. I assume it was a dealer option?

Today I bought a 1997 Dodge Avenger brochure and I found that it was offered in Bright Jade Pearl Coat, which doesn't appear in my 2000 Avenger brochure. Eagle Talon was offered in Bright Jade for 1997 only, maybe it's the same color? They were both built by MMMA in Normal, IL.

I left off mid head gasket job, i finished by late April and was able to take the car up to school with me for a bit before school ended. I also got a spare valve cover cause my old one was cracked, i painted it wrinkle black. I've put 3000 miles on the car since then

Took the car apart to do a head gasket, i haven't been home much so it's been nearly a month, but it should be ready to start this weekend. It was cool to see inside my now 180000 mile engine, some carbon which i cleaned but overall pretty great.

I saw this clapped out nyc cab Nissan NV on marketplace near me a few months ago it had like 500k miles and was only 1k or so, finally got to see it on the road today
