🥇 2026 - De La Fuente wins 2026 World Cup with Spain
This is incredible. Since becoming the manager of Spain in 2022, De La Fuente has only lost two matches. 🤯👏
1 - Spain have conceded just one goal in their eight games at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the fewest goals conceded by any team in a World Cup winning campaign.
Immovable.

🚨🗣️ Nicky Butt has told Kobbie Mainoo to refuse to play in England’s World Cup third-place match against France:
"I do not know what is going on there, there’s something not quite right with it.
Now they’re going to play the bomb squad in the stupid third-place game. I’d just refuse to play if I was Kobbie Mainoo. I’d say I was injured. It’s a nonsense game, especially when you’ve been treated like that.
He’s not played a minute of football, now to go and start this pointless jumped-up friendly and potentially get injured for the whole season… NO."
Mainoo should’ve been on the plane to face Wrexham with the United squad.

Who am I, that the eyes that see my sin would look on me with love
And watch me rise again
Who am I, that the voice that calmed the sea would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me?
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth would care to know my name?
Would care to feel my hurt?
Who am I, that the bright and morning star would choose to light the way
Today, I have the honour of returning to the University of Education, Winneba, not as a student, but as a speaker at the 2026 Conference of the Department of Social Studies Education.
Sharing the platform with distinguished personalities including Hon. Matthew Nyindam, Prof. Samuel O. Bekoe (Director-General, NaCCA), the Vice-Chancellor, senior lecturers, and one of my own lecturers from Level 100, Prof. Lucy Effeh Attom, made this moment incredibly special.
Sitting in those lecture halls years ago, I never imagined I’d one day return to speak about Digital Citizenship Skills for the 21st Century World of Work to students walking the same paths I once did.
Life has a beautiful way of coming full circle.
I’m grateful to my department for believing that my journey from a Social Studies student to a broadcast journalist and digital content creator is a story worth sharing.
To every student: never underestimate the skills you’re building today. The little things you choose to learn outside the classroom may become the very things that open doors tomorrow.
Thank you, Department of Social Studies Education, UEW, for bringing me back home. My heart is full
Watch Spain at 1-0 last night. That’s courage. That’s bravery. And then watch England at 1-0. What’s the difference?
We are a better team than Argentina, I’ve no doubt in my mind. But we deserved to get beat in the end. In fact, it could have been 4-1.
Bringing on 3 defenders at 1-0 up. What message does that send? I wrote it in my Daily Mail column after the Mexico game. Until we understand that courage and bravery is controlling possession under pressure and not booting / heading it up the field 40 yards then this will always be the end result.
