@TheStalwart@conorsen I wonder if this is intended to placate an internal, employee constituency. "We're the good guys because we're setting Twitter free!" Makes the project feel futuristic instead of being pure conquest.
Around 20% of Italians, Spaniards and French people live in houses with a leaking roof.
That is a higher level of material deprivation than I anticipated.
@tomcritchlow Your examples and mine are probably best described as gap between where they are and what their full potential once was...too far gone now

@Wertwhile @conorsen@NateSilver538 It’s really surprising looking at this list, expected a handful of duds. The next tier — clear top pick but not clear consensus of greatness — has a lot more issues. (My Sixers fan brain: Fultz, Simmons. Ouch.)
The Wagner forces are now in Rostov-on-Don near the Ukrainian border. Been fascinating the last hour watching the road closures pop up in real time on Google Maps between there and Moscow 800 miles north.
@conorsen Feels like PR incentives change when moving from upstart (need the right call at the right time in order to deepen deal flow) to incumbent (gotta be in the conversation for every possible tech wave, even if you have nothing new to say, to widen deal flow)
New report finds that over 8,000 pedestrians were killed on US roadways in 2022.

@GergelyOrosz Yes, totally. And if adding a website or something with a cross-sell discount, the slight premium sometimes even starts to look like a discount.
@GergelyOrosz I think this is a function of your audience. Squarespace’s primary appeal is it is extremely user-friendly for the layperson, and support is great. Worth a small premium for that if you’re not technically-minded, and especially if connecting to other Squarespace services.
