Way to go @delta. Fliyght from IAD to ATL was only 6 hours delayed; now that we are finally on the ground in Atlanta (12:30am) there is an estimated 45 minute wait for a gate.
@smerconish What happened to candidates earning our vote; vs US giving them our vote? RFK talked about issues and espoused policies that got me excited to vote for him. Neither Trump nor Harris has earned my vote. For the first time in my adult life I'll sit out this presidential election.
I found a guy who goes around the US asking 70 to 100-year-olds their:
• Biggest Regrets
• Biggest Lessons

@birdlandjazz Here is a picture of my grandfather at Birdland in it's heyday. He managed a lot of the talent and had some type of partnership/ownership of the club:
@TruistNews received your message about charging for more than 6 withdrawals (including ATM). You want to charge me for getting my money? How about one large withdrawal to close my account?
You make money on my money. Now you want to charge me to get my money?

Independent thinking is hard.
Resisting tribalism is hard.

I've now been asked multiple times for my take on Elon's offer for Twitter.
So fine, this is what I think about that. I will assume the takeover succeeds, and he takes Twitter private. (I have little knowledge/insight into how actual takeover battles work or play out)

It takes curiosity to learn. It takes courage to unlearn.
Learning requires the humility to admit what you don't know today.
Unlearning requires the integrity to admit that you were wrong yesterday.
Learning is how you evolve. Unlearning is how you keep up as the world evolves.
I could tell my wife was unhappy that golf season on TV is over. So I reminded her that football season starts this weekend. I don't think she wants to watch TV with me.
My cable company had a dispute w/ the local ABC station and went dark. An entire week without @marykbruce . I'm glad they worked it out. See ya tonight.
